If this doesn’t make you want to smile.. I don’t know what will! Its such a creative video and I actually love the song too!
Here is the story behind it which was originally posted on Gizmodo:
A VIRAL LOVE LETTER
Stop whatever you’re doing right now, watch this video, and send it to your friends. Actually, you don’t even have to watch the video—though it’s amazing—you just need to pass it on. Here’s why.
The video was put together by a guy named Walter C. May and his roommates—who just happen to be in a band called The Daylights. It was posted on YouTube yesterday and has since then been tweeted about by May’s friends, random strangers, and even Katy Perry.
But May’s girlfriend, for whom the video was made, hasn’t seen it yet.
That’s because May wanted the video to reach her organically—through tweets, links passed between friends, and blog posts. He wanted to show his girl that they “can feel close without having to be close every day,” and that their relationship can remain strong even though they’ll be thousands of miles apart over the next two years.
Some hilarious and very creative My Little Pony Celebrities. I think Lady Gaga Pony and Joker Pony might be two of my favorites. Is it too late for me to start collecting these again? kidding.
An interesting post from the Cut Blog-
V Magazine Pits a Plus-Size Model Against a Skinny One:
In the “One Size Fits All” spread shot by Terry Richardson, Crystal Renn and Jacquelyn Jablonski pose side by side in the same looks and similar poses, “creating quite a sizeable comparison,” according to the press release. The point is to prove that “fashion can flatter any figure.”
Jacquelyn: 5 ft, 9 in; 32/24/34
Crystal Renn: 5 ft, 9 in; 36/31/41
Ok I am curious- I may have to pick up this issue of V Magazine..
I woke up extremely early this morning and couldn’t fall back asleep, so what did I do? Look for my dream shoes online of course. These are the two pairs that I would literally kill for right now, and I am seriously contemplating burying myself in credit card debt for at least one pair- I feel like they are investments and could take me fabulous places. Ok I am just trying to justify them, but who cares- they are dream boats. Too bad the boots alone would cost me close to a grand… one day :( Once I realized that purchasing either of these pairs of shoes is just insanely far fetched (that only took moments) I got out of bed and headed to Century 21 and was there at 7:45AM. I might just have a problem.
I can’t wait to wine and dine at MoMA’s wonderful Modern Restaurant this evening with my great friends! I just have to avoid a food induced coma so that I can go home and pack for my flight tomorrow morning!
The next time you have an out-of-town guest ask where they should go to do some serious shopping, send them to this link! This list was put together buy the folks at Racked.com and it even includes a map and short description of their picks. I am very happy to see that they included The Strand and Housing works, two of my favorite spots!
Clark: We’re kicking off our fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols.
Audrey: We’re not coming all the way out here just to get one of those stupid ties with Santa Clauses on it are we?
Clark: No, I have one of those at home.
This is one of my favorite Christmas tunes, and it was written and recorded in my NYC apt by my uber talented roommate. He literally whipped this up in a few hours, and I just love it!
